Lorne provides clients with advice on the protection and utilisation of many types of intellectual property assets. He joined Adams Pluck in 2008 after working for two other patent firms in Sydney as a patent and trademark attorney. He first became involved with IP by establishing the patent searching operation of an IP law firm in the UK. Having a broad range of technical skills, Lorne now works with clients who need patents in the areas of mechanical and medical devices, electronics and computer hardware and software, as well as offering validity and infringement opinion work. He is also well versed in industrial product development. Prior to his involvement in IP, Lorne worked in the R&D department of an ultrasonic medical device manufacturer, and as a production engineer for a manufacturer of surveillance cameras.
