David provides clients with advice on intellectual property matters, specialising in the drafting and prosecution of patents in the life sciences, biotechnology, plant, chemical and pharmaceutical fields. David has over 25 years experience in the patent profession and co-founded Adams Pluck in 2006. He worked for a number years in hospital research laboratories following completion of his university studies in the areas of biology and chemistry. David originally qualified as an electrical fitter-mechanic at an Australian steelworks where he gained hands-on electrical and mechanical engineering experience, giving him the technical skills to assist his industrial manufacturing clients.
