Phillip Pluck
Phillip is recognised for his work primarily in the area of patents, with experience also extending to trade mark and design matters. He specialises in patent prosecution, opposition hearings, validity and infringement assessments, patent litigation and intellectual property portfolio management. Phillip has also lectured to university students on intellectual property for a number of years. He joined ADAMS PLUCK in 2006 after accruing over eleven years of experience at another Australian firm.
Phillip’s technical expertise is primarily in the field of physics, including optics, electro-mechanics, thermodynamics, quantum mechanics and nuclear physics. Further areas of interest include nanotechnology, computing, bioinformatics, telecommunications and automotive technology. In addition, Phillip has prosecuted patent applications for inventions covering a broad range of fields, for example seismic exploration, electronic gaming, surgical implements and financial software, to name but a few.
Phillip enjoys bush walking, cycling, motorcycling, kayaking and team sports such as baseball, volleyball and soccer.
